Oriel Enterprise

Each year St Catherine’s Hospice runs a Schools Enterprise Challenge, to raise money for the Hospice.  Teams of six pupils are invited from schools within West Sussex to compete against one another not only to raise the most money but by being innovative and using their enterprising and resourcing skills to gain the prestigious awards ‘Most Original Fundraising Idea’, ‘Best Pitch’, ‘Best Business Plan’ and ‘Best Marketing Strategy’. 

The Oriel Enterprise team consists of five students from Oriel 6th Form Business Studies group, who are determined to raise a record breaking total for St Catherine’s Hospice. So far through a variety of activities, including a non-school-uniform day and selling roses for Valentine’ Day, they have raised over £1,100, and there is still more to come through the various collecting tins placed in various businesses. 

However the Oriel Enterprise Team have one last event. On Wednesday 21st July we will be holding an Auction. This will be no ordinary event, there will be local celebrities, dinner and dance with a local band, raffle and the auction with items very kindly being donated by local and international businesses.Click here for more details.
